As holidays, graduations, and blooming plants come up over the next few months make sure your photos shine with these free and easy-to-use photo editing apps.

Photo Editor by Aviary (available on iOS and Android) – Use professionally designed filters and a host of touch-up tools to enhance your photos. The app also lets you create stickers and frames and draw on images.

VSCO (available on iOS and Android) – This app has great editing tools and camera controls, but also includes a social component allowing you to share photos, curate collections, and find and follow others from around the world.

Photoshop Express (available on iOS, Android, and even Windows phone) – Everything you’d expect from the household name in photo editing software including stock filters, red-eye correction, and lots of tools. One great feature is the ability to create and save your own unique filters.

Snapseed (available on iOS and Android) – Long a favorite of amateur photographers, this app has professional level tools and filters like lens blur, and precision and layering of edits.
