[Fantasy] Jeweled Fire is the next entry in fantasy author Sharon Shinn’s Elemental Blessings series. This might be a good read if you’ve already finished all of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander books.
[Holiday Mystery] Anne Perry’s A Christmas Escape is a holiday mystery involving a lonely widower exploring a Mediterranean island who ends up investigating a murder committed at his hotel. Holiday mysteries are a fun annual tradition you might’ve stumbled upon by popular authors like Joanna Fluke and Mary Higgins Clark. Even Agatha Christie had some.
[Thriller] Did you know the creator of Law & Order writes novels now? If you didn’t, try this latest thriller, The Ultimatum from Dick Wolf. Police Detective Jeremy Fisk hunts a terrorist sniper using aerial drones to make his kills. This might be a good match for you if you like Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch books or James Patterson’s Alex Cross series.
[Mystery] Jefferson Bass’s newest novel is Breaking Point. After his professional expertise is questioned, main character Bill Brockton is once again threatened by a serial killer from his past. These books are a good match if you like Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta series or the Temperance Brennan books by Kathy Reichs.
