Donate new books at your local JMRL branch to share the gift of reading with community members of all ages
Central Library
November 12 – January 4 Bring a new, unwrapped book for any age (kids, teen, adult) to Central Library. Donations will be shared with ReadyKids, The Haven, and The Kindlewood Neighborhood Community.
Crozet Library
November 12 – December 14 Help feed young minds at Crozet Library! Drop off a new, unwrapped children’s book and we’ll share your love of reading by donating it to CDI Head Start at Crozet Elementary.
Gordon Avenue Library
November 12 – January 4 Bring new, unwrapped children’s books to Gordon Avenue Library. Donations will be shared with ReadyKids.
Greene County Library
November 1 – November 30. Visit Greene County Library and select a child’s handprint from the Giving Tree. Purchase a new, hardcover book, and bring the unwrapped book along with the child’s handprint to Greene County Library before the 30th of November. Books will be shared with children in the preschool classes at Nathanael Greene Primary School.
Louisa County Library
November 1 – November 30. Louisa County Library will be collecting for local preschools. Please drop off new, unwrapped picture books.
Northside Library
November 1 – November 30. Please bring new, unwrapped picture books to Northside Library’s Children’s Room. Books will be shared with Bright Stars at Agnor Elementary School.
Scottsville Library
November 18 – December 13 Scottsville Library will be collecting for Bright Stars. Please drop off new, unwrapped picture books.
