6th Annual JMRL Food Drive:
November 6-18, 2023
Be a hunger hero! JMRL’s 6th Annual “Food for Fines” drive takes place Nov. 6-18. To participate, bring non-perishable items such as peanut butter or cans of tuna to the Front Desk of any JMRL location during business hours, and receive $1 off overdue and late renewal fines for each donated item.
No fines? Your donations are still appreciated!
Note: Accounts in collections and billed items are ineligible for this offer.
Most Needed Items (No glass please):
Low Sodium, Low Sugar, and Whole Grain items preferred
- Boxed mac & cheese
- Beans, canned or dried
- Spaghetti sauce
- Canned tuna and chicken
- Soap, toothbrushes, and feminine products
- Paper products
- Cereal
- Canned fruit or veggies
- Canned soups, stews and chili
- Peanut or almond butter
- Pasta and rice
- Baby food, formula, and diapers
Donations made to Louisa County Library will benefit the Louisa County Resource Council. Donations at all other library branches will go to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
