The Friends of the Library Fall book sale will be held at Albemarle Square Shopping Center (300 Albemarle Square) on Saturday, October 15 through Sunday, October 23, from 10 am – 7 pm each day. Half-price days are planned for Oct. 22 and 23.
A pre-sale will be held Friday, October 14, from 5 – 7 pm for members of the Friends of the Library. Memberships can be purchased or renewed at the door, or online at jmrlfriends.org prior to the day of the pre-sale. Barcode scanners will not be allowed at the pre-sale and Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm.
Selected categories for the Fall book sale include Fiction, Mystery, Science, History, YA, Children’s Books and more. “We’ve got some great books, at great prices, for a great cause,” said book sale manager, Peter Manno.
Proceeds of the Friends of the Library book sale benefit JMRL, the regional public library system serving five jurisdictions: Charlottesville, Albemarle, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.
“The Friends of the Library make JMRL programming possible with their financial support,” said JMRL’s Library Director, David Plunkett.
