JMRL is adding more hours to the below branches starting Monday, November 16.
Central Library (curbside service only): Mondays 10am to 7pm; Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am to 5pm; Sundays 1pm to 5pm
Gordon Avenue Library (curbside service only): Mondays and Wednesdays 10am to 7pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 10am to 4pm
“We’re pleased to offer more options for patrons picking up curbside items; adding an additional evening for those working during the day, and Monday morning for those who want to pick up earlier in the week,” said Camille Thompson, Gordon Avenue Library Branch Manager.
Greene County Library: Monday: 12pm-7pm (appointment service)
Tuesday: 10am-5pm (curbside service)
Wednesday: 10am-5pm (appointment service)
Thursday: 10am-5pm (curbside service)
Friday: 10am-5pm (curbside service)
Saturday: 10am-5pm (appointment service)
“We are excited to expand an hour at the beginning of each day to help accommodate early birds, and an added hour at the end of each day to help teachers/students to get library service after school,” said Ginny Reese, Greene County Library Manager.
The Louisa County Library will now offer appointments on Saturdays, beginning Saturday, November 14.
“We’re delighted to extend our services to include appointments on Saturdays to help families who are unable to get here during the week,” said Ophelia Payne, Louisa Branch Manager.
To make an in-person appointment, please contact a participating branch and ensure you bring a face covering to your appointment.
