Mailed applications must be postmarked at least 22 days before the next election in which you plan to vote. A qualified active-duty uniformed services member, spouse or dependent is NOT subject to the mailing deadline if by reason of active duty, you are normally absent from the locality in which you reside.

ABSENTEE VOTE BY MAIL
As of July 1, 2020, voters no longer need a reason to apply for an absentee ballot. Ballots start going out on September 18. Hand-delivered mail-in ballots are accepted starting on September 18. The deadline to request a mailed ballot is 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2020. Call your local register for more information or to check for receipt of your ballot.
