Civil War Sesquicentennial Program at the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library

Get involved with the 150th Anniversary commemoration of the Civil War by viewing Part I (the first hour and a half) of the DVD, “Virginia in the Civil War” at the Central Branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library on Sunday, April 3 at 2:00.  Enjoy informative introductory remarks given by nationally-known Civil War expert, Dr. James I. Robertson, Jr. of Virginia Tech and then a Question-And-Answer session with him after the show.  Refreshments are provided.  Viewing rights granted by the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the Civil War Commission.  Part II (the final hour and a half of the DVD) will be shown on Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 also at the Central Branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.  Refreshments will be provided again.  For more information, call (434) 979-7151, ext. 400 or visit www.jmrl.orgNote:   Dr. Robertson will only be present at the viewing on April 3.
